A wedge of aluminium unearthed in quarry was created more than 200,000 years before man discovered how to make it, new tests commissioned by UFO experts have revealed.

Scientists in Lausanne, Switzerland, say the wedge - discovered in Aiud, Romania, in 1973 - is 250,000 years old and 90 per cent aluminium, a metal not developed on Earth until 1825.

The country's leading UFO expert Gheorghe Coha explained: "The tests take us to the conclusion that this is a very ancient piece of a UFO.

"If the substances in its composition could not have been made on Earth, logic says they had to come from somewhere else in the universe," he added.
