Chinese martial arts expert He Ch'ang, 34, settled a row with an air conditioning salesman who refused to give a refund for a faulty device by giving him a demonstration of his skills on top of nearby bridge.

Furious He brought the air-conditioner from a supermarket in Liuzhou city, in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

He said: "I was getting more and more annoyed that their refusal to refund me the money for the device was just didn't work.

"In the end I told the salesman I needed to cool down and told him I was going to climb up the bridge. I then went through a series of moves."

The martial arts experts six hours of daring exercises on top of the bridge even ended up on local TV screens inside the supermarket and when the martial arts expert went back – the store gave him a full refund."

He said: "I didn't threaten them – I just showed them what I could do. I'm pleased that they decided to see reason."
