Winter Olympic participants insured against swine flu

Romania's delegation to the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver has been insured against any consequences that may follow cases of swine flu.

All sports players and the entire staff have been insured by Euroins company, which is a sponsor of the Romanian Olympic Committee.

The insurance company has a swine-flu insurance policy on offer that will pay 5,000 Euros in case of death from the disease. Romanian Euroins, owned by Bulgarian Eurohold, launched the policy in January at a cost of up to 35 Euros a year.
