British tourists will spend New Year´s Eve at the Ice Hotel

romaniantimes.at

A group of 20 British tourists have chosen to spend New Year’s Eve at the only Ice Hotel in Romania at Balea Lake.

The group will pay around 50 Euros for a double room/night, according to hotel representatives.

The Ice Hotel, in its fifth year of existence, was built in only 10 days out of huge blocks of ice.

The New Year’s Eve menu consists of traditional dishes served on ice plates.

The builders of the hotel will inaugurate an ice church next week.

The unique Ice Hotel is situated next to Balea Lake at an altitude of 2,040 metres in the Fagaras mountains.
