Paris, Barcelona and London are the main holiday destinations where most Romanians want to travel to, according to data provided by HotelPeeps application, developed by Zitec.
One in three Romanian users indicated on the list of destinations where they would like to go on holiday, namely the capital of France, Paris.
Barcelona and London come next on the lists of 16 per cent of users. New York, Rome and Amsterdam are also among the holiday destinations preferred by Romanians, Agerpres reports.
HotelPeeps users drew up a total list of 1,045 cities they would like to go to, in 184 countries.
As to the most visited cities by Romanians, HotelPeeps shows that 14 per cent of these have visited Paris at least once, while 13 per cent have been to Vienna and 10 per cent to Barcelona.
Alexandru Lapusan, CEO Zitec, said: "As to the hotels in which Romanians choose to stay, 73 per cent of them prefer 4- and 3-star establishments. The 5-star ones are visited by only 18 per cent of Romanians."
HotelPeeps is a Romanian application designed especially for Facebook, bringing together more than 17,000 users who share their holiday experiences.
Zitec is a Romanian IT company specialising in development of complex products and online applications.
